thanks for the info! now i'm really confused on which amg car should i get...

still deciding between this (cls55) and e55, and sl55 somewhere in between (:p)...

my only concern with the E is that it will get replaced soon, isn't it? if i recalled correctly benz's lifespan is 7 years correct?

edit: hmmm any idea how much this kit is? at first i thought this was not for sale, only exist in brabus's rocket car...

The E still has a few years left though it is due for a facelift next year. It comes down to your personal preference. The CLS is an attention getter, the E stays under the radar and the SL is in between. I would go CLS55 (obviously, lol) because you get heart stopping looks with SL55 power for $30K+ less.

The real question is, do you want the 5.5K or the 6.3NA?

I don't think that's a Brabus kit. It doesn't have the quad fogs, and the chin is too low. The wheels are Monoblock VI though. The car is also sitting a little too high

Knowing MBZ's cycle, the E probably have 3 years of life left after the facelift. Add one more year of trial and error period for the W212 and you'll be at about 2010 waiting to get into a new beast, which hopefully has a 6.3TT :v

This is plenty of time for you to enjoy the refinement of the E55. As VelocitE55 said, the CLS gets all the attention, while the E is more subtle. For me, I chose the E over the CLS and am planning to replace all the badges with black chromed ones to be even more stealthy.

6.3??? hmmmm now its really confusing, but i think i'll go with the 55 tho.. i like the sound of benz's kompressor...

i like e because of Teej55!!! his 55 with mkb kit is so hot, makes me wanna lay my hand on another e (i've had 3 of them in the past, can't never get enough of them). is the facelift subtle or is it major?

and yeah i think the cls is somewhat different from the rest of the benzo... when i first saw it in pictures, i thought, meh, it looks boring... rears look like fords (lots of these in aussie)... and then i saw it in metals... man do this baby looks amazing, i almost got one during my trip to sf last month, cls 500 in white with amg kit (actually for my sister, but she prefer the new gs430)..

It is a Brabus kit, the one from the "Brabus Rocket". Heres a link to the thread where it was first shown:

The second link is better once your there.

I don't care how fast that car is. Way to ruin the lines of the car by putting that shovel of a bumper on it.

I was wonderin the exact same thing. I guess it really is brabus. Not like them to put something out like that but what do I know. They have definitely surprised me with their new wheel designs...

I like this kit, but I think their new rim designs blow.
