Pictures with new Chrome 20s!

I finally got my new 20s in. They are 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear wrapped in some beefy PS2s! They are a Mandrus 15 Spoke wheel. The weight is 1lb heavier than the factory wheels so not light by any means, but they look pretty good. I would like them to have a wider lip, but I'm starting to get used to them pretty quick. What do you guys think?

I haven't really driven it hard yet since I have only had them on for 1/2 a day, but I do notice more road noise. I have a track day set up in June so then I'll really be able to test the handling of the car.

I'm soooooo over chrome -- It's totally played out. They look nice, but black centers would look better, IMO. The only people I see with chrome wheels nowadays are old grandpas and soccer moms driving around their Lexus SUV or Caddys. That or, the "cool guy" with the Tahoe with 22's...oh lord please save me!

They look pretty nice. I guess us "wheel freaks" just get so used to the looks of the 20x9 / 20x11 combo with that wicked 305 rear! lol

For the price point these wheels are a good choice. Enjoy them.

I had another vehicle with the black centers and it got old quick, so I decided to go back to all chrome. I still like the look of the black centers, but after awhile it's just old. I still love the "classic" all chrome look.

I would have gone with the 305s but I wanted to put the PS2s on so I had to stick with 295s. For the cost differance after selling the factory wheels I couldn't turn them down!

Right on, I do like them -- don't get me wrong. If you've been there done that on another vehicle, change is always good. I'm actually getting my centers redone on my HRE 841R's to gunmetal gray for something different.

Yeah, we carry the Mandrus line so I know its a great deal! When you lower it they will look alot better. I also wonder if a spacer in the rear would help "fatten" up the overall look?

Enjoy once again

Just cause you don't like chrome doesn't mean it's played out nor does it deserve to be belittled by you. Chrome has been around forever. I remember my grandads 62 Caddy with the shiny chrome bumpers and wheels. Personally, I like many different types of wheel finishes. I prefer chrome because I believe they should stand out after spending so much on them. They catch the eye, reflect the light. Plus, chrome wheels are easier to clean and maintain. You do need to be saved....from blasphemy.

I think it looks bad-***. I want a set. How much did it set you back?

I'm not sure if I should get 19s or 20s.

Please let me know how the ride quality and grip under WOT changed.

That will be the decision factor for me.

After I sold the stockers it was only about 1K to step up to these with the PS2s!! The ride quality thus far is the same as stock, but the road noise is a little louder. Under WOT I can't tell much of a difference yet, but with the K4 mods that are on the car, I don't think that just tires are going to cure all of my tractions problems that I have.
With the TC OFF from a dead stop I have the tires spinning until 60-65 mph. I try to just feather the gas, but she just lights them up as if I was trying to do a huge burn out, it's just :v
