Something on 4 wheels..
If you want an Automatic, stay away from the M5/6. Driving these - let's face it - manual transmission cars in auto-mode is a huge waste of potential. Even in the most sporty automatic-setting of the M-mode (P500/D5), you won't be able to get quick shifts. If you prefer manual shifting, SMG is a great thing.
BTW, why M6? The M5 offers more for less...

OK, i stopped reading all posts about half way, but someone else said it, if the CLS55 is no doing it for you, the 63 isn't much diffrent and the M6 is probably not going to be the answer eather, as whoever it was suggested, go with a 911 Turbo or something totally diffrent, M6 isn't going to give you THAT much more feel I don't think... but it will feel a little more sporty, but do you want to go fast or feel like you are going fast? I think you sir need an 997 Turbo...

I currently drive a CLS55 but have never really enjoyed the auto gear box. So I put a CLS63 on order (which is suppose to be delivered late Sept or early Oct.). In the mean time, though, I stumbled on a new black M6 that someone backed out of buying. I have to give the BMW dealer an answer in the morning as to whether I want the M6 or not. Would you wait for the CLS63 or take the M6?
