I need a camera mount so I do not have to hold the camera and drive the car and hit the paddles.

The only video I have is of the roll out. When you are traveling so fast, a camera is the last thing on your mind.

I would like to see any tangible evidence to that.
I tune BMW's (as well as Mercedes and Ferrari) for a living, and there is not a 580rwhp M6 on this planet YET.

These guys with there baby lambos need to get over themselves. My buddy has a G ....all his friends notice how he loves to tell girls about his Lamborghini. We bust up laughing every time. Its a fun car for the money but: no lambo doors...basically the same car as a R8. I have a lot more respect for the Murci and Diablo and would take a F430 over the baby lambo any day of the week. I wouldnt throw the gallardo out of bed if it were heavily discounted though...which seems to be happening a bit now...

I dont know if Dave posted here or not but this was his impression of driving his CL65 up against a Gallardo Spyder.
* Tony's white Gallardo is indeed quick! The two of us were at the front of the pack for a good portion of the day, him leading and me behind due to not knowing where we were going. Everytime we had an opportunity to hit it in some open space, he go and then I would to. I would hang right on him, but NEVER thought I had the power to pass him coming from behind. The Gallardo's truly shine at 100mp+++. My former 04 Gallardo was no where near as fast as his and I believe he is carring an additional 300 pounds due to being convertible. Now at one point we were traveling on the freeway and we had wide open road. I was in front and he was in back by about 40 car lengths. I could see him hit it and start gaining speed and coming quick in another lane so I juiced it when he was about 15 car lenghts back in hopes of being at the same speed when he got to me, but I was not. I was probably 15-20mph slower when he passed me at 100mph. At this point I was on the gas and using any and all of my 740HP and 1000TQ to catch him. I was able to make up a little ground but did not have the time to get even with or overtake him at any point. We finially shut it down at 179mph and I was about 2 - 2 1/2 car lengths behind him. I think if we would have been able to go to 200mph, I would have ran him down? My car is limited at 185mph so that is all wishful thinking anyways and I dont recall what the Gallardo is limited at. Tony - You car is FAST!! For comparision sake, my CL65 weighs roughly 4700+lbs w/ a driver weight of 290lbs (yeah, I am big guy). The Gallardo spyder weighs roughly 3450+lbs + driver weight of maybe 190lbs.
Now my point of this is: NO stock AMG 65 is going to beat a Gallardo, bottom line! The only race that may have a chance would be 30-90 and may give the AMG65 a chance. Any race that goes over 100MPH and the Gallardo will win. That car SHINES at over 100mph. Any race from a dead stop between these 2 cars and the AMG65 will get it's *** handed to it if the AMG 65 car has ESP off like he should for a race anyways.

Seriously, what's all the fuss about? I didn't/couldn't read every post in this thread, but what is so shocking about a modified Gallardo pulling on a stock 63 that weighs at least 1,000 lbs more?
We've seen videos from MB owners on this board who have been walked in their K4 cars by slightly modded Z06's. Why would a bone stock car do better?
Even if the CLS driver wasn't "on it", does anyone really think that the 63would not have been walked? Maybe the gap would not have been so significant, but it would still have been pretty big. The modified G probably traps at 125 in the 1/4. The 63 probably 111-113?
I know that it stings some people to see "their" car get walked, but people need to step back and think objectively about what is happening. Some things are quite easily, and properly, labeled "BS". Some things make more sense.
