Any chance of finding a CLS55 for around $52K? I have wheels off an SL55 and would like to do an easy swap onto a CLS55 if possible.

Mmm, No!
There is no chance.
And what do you mean you have wheels from an SL55? How does that play into the CLS55 swap?

So you have some wheels, and you're going to let the wheels decide what type of car you should buy? Not that CLS55 is a bad choice but ...
Anyway, non of my business, but I think you'll get into a nice CLS550 for $52 (maybe), but a 55, I doubt you'd get one for less that $60. Unless you get a car that was lemoned.

depends on what you are looking for/condition, but I agree w/ Trez: NFW for a good one loaded w/ low miles. NFW.

I've been looking at CLS55's all over the country. You might find a CLS55 at the Mannheim Auctions but you need Dealer Access to get in and bid on the car... As far as Internet Searches, I can't recall seeing any CLS55's priced in the low 50's yet, not even high mileage cars... Pricing varies widely from state to state and city to city but low 50's isn't really realistic unless the car has been severely damaged, stolen, or has a salvage tittle... You probably don't want one of those cars...

Dude you gotta jump ship, that E is tired, those wheels need a home and the CLS has alot more room for wheels than the E. The economy is sinking so 52k may steal a used CLS 55 with high mileage IMO, lets find you one!!!how bout 57k

That number puts you in the ball park of an 05 CL55. You may wish to check it out. CLS 55 no.

The market is very screwed up and I can't imagine not pouncing, if you're thinking performance coupe.
