OK cool, so everyone good with heading out to TMS on the 26th to settle this? Sorry but road racing isn't smart or as cool as the op makes it out to be - even if it's a "phantom" road race
What is there to settle? Honestly, who cares? Besides you that is.

Jesus, you are dumb, here lets try this

THE ORIGINAL POST NEVER HAPPENED, I KNOW IT NEVER DID AS IT IS MY CAR HE IS TALKING ABOUT, IF HE ACTUALLY DOES RACE ANYWHERE DOWNTOWN HE IS A MORON...

For the record, what makes you so confident that your car would have taken that CLS55 if it actually happened? It really seems to bother you. Please don't say race me then I'll tell you either.

Not to mention who are you to judge? Have you never driven recklessly? For all I know it was probably you who just had to cross 3 lanes, almost clipping two cars, only to pass me at WOT in Dallas recently. That is after staring at my car with your window down.

Quote: Ok, So why are you here? Or should I sign up on the Porsche forums and try to defend an Acura that made up a story about and Audi that beat someone you may not even know. Seems like the only reason you signed up is to take a dig at AMG owner's in general and not the OP.
Relax, man. People are entitled to their opinions. Surely you can come up with better rebuttals than "Why are you here, you don't even have an MB?"

And if there was anyone who had a joke at all AMG owners' expense, it was surely the OP

It seems like all the AMG guys here are just big talkers with nothing to back it up - the op hasn't been back and weaksauce has offered to settle this on the track and noone has stepped up. Can't you big AMG ballers go get some track tires and pay for a day at the track or are your weekly Viagra and Rogaine payments hurting the wallet a little too much??
Say what you like but I don't think theres an AMG in here that wouldn't eat your Porsche and s**t a C-Class.

It's just funny how the op never showed up and AMG owners think that the car world begins and ends with an AMG. You talk to the M3 owners like they are driving a Kia or something - they are two totally different owners and totally different cars. The AMG is a beast but you never see them on a track which - in my opinion - is where you should be running these cars and not at 2:30 in the morning coming back from a bar in Dallas (seriously, how stupid is that anyway...cops are all over the place in Dallas at 2:30 on a weekend).

<---- and why is that a smiley on a MB web site????

Looser. I have had an E36 & E46 M3 + M-Coupe and I, like most here dont think it all starts and ends with AMG. I might even get an Audi next time around. Then again I probably will get an AMG. After all AMG is the King!
Oh yeah

since you're a n00b around here you might want to type the words track day into the search bar.

search thread titles only.. you should pull up at least 4 pages of threads about track days.

There are some really great MB track cars out there. Check out speedybenz.com for a great daily/track MB example. Maybe they don't leave the factory in pure-form but how many people really put them on the track? I just think its lame how many times I read the old "yeah but take it to the autoX track" statement. Can we respond with "yeah but lets sit in traffic for 6 hours and see whos more comfortable?" Its like listening to a married couple. Hopefully we all get the car that suits our needs most.

I also feel comfortable in saying that we were mostly looking to poke fun at the OP and not to defend the AMG brand. What makes me mad is how much time these threads suck out of my work day...yet I still read it...damn it.

C'mon guys - a gauntlet has been thrown down!

weaksausage and the other Dallas 'wrekking krew' are waiting for someone, anyone, with an AMG to school them at the track. Here he is, surrounded by his krew, after fixing his E36 M3 from the big money shift.

Hey Bandit, show us how to "row them gears" lol....row, row KA-BOOM!

Perhaps you should have stayed with a slushbox, no??

Let me first start off by saying I own 2 M3's, now let me continue by saying that 90% of M3 owners are arrogant pr1cks. I belong to BIMMERFORUM.com and I got into the other day with some guys on the new M3 board. They all seem to think the new M3 is the greatest supercar on earth. I was not even being critical of the new M3, all I said was I think BMW should have set the bar a bit higher than they did with the new M3. I stated that the 2.5 year old RS4 was about on par with the performance of the new M3 and that the soon to be released next generation S4 is going to make 450 HP and the next generation CLK AMG is just around the corner and will probaly make north of 475 (if we get a coupe in the states). I also stated that even Lexus is barking at the heels of the new M3. Well, that wanted nothing to do with what I had to say, they called me a lier about owning a Black Series, then when they discovered I really did own a Black Series they called it an over weight, under-powered () couch that handles like a semi truck (again ). At this point I produced some more facts and then laughed it off. The next day I log in and the Mods over there deleted every one of my posts. I also offered to race any naturaly aspirated M3 they could produce either in a drag race or on a road course with my Black Series...still have not heard back from any of them, maybe they came to their senses.

I think we all need to go over to that forum and start some stuff and screw with them. It almost makes me imbarrased to be an M3 owner
