CLS63 vs Viper SRT-10 (video)
Sorry for the quality, it was a cell phone camera. I did not expect to run anything that night (in Mexico) so we were not prepared. Here are the details...
It was only me in the CLS. My car is pretty much stock, however I did remove my resonator and the charcoal filters.
The Viper had two people in the car. It had a custom cat-back exhaust, Filters and Short-shift kit...
I got him from the dig by 3/4 of the car lengh and stayed in front until about 150 km/h - 160 km/h where I started braking...

The second run, I do not have a video, we ran to a bit over 160. The results were pretty much the same however he did catch up to me at 160 and we stayed pretty much even at that point...
The third run was from an 85 km/h roll to my governed speed limit
...
I don't have a video of that, but I pulled him by a car length right at the beginning and kept the position all the way until I was affected by my speed limiter, which obviously Vipers don't have, so he was able to continue and pass by at the end. He did say though that he started off in the wrong gear.
There was also a 997 Turbo Techart GT Street (?). The owner said that he had around 600 hp or so... He killed us both by 8-10 cars from 85 km/h roll.
It was a fun night and I am pretty happy with the way the CLS performed.
