Has anyone purchased an aftermarket warranty on their 55? My factory is about to expire...and i'm looking at the options...just wanted to see if anyone has used Easy Care or Master Tech??

Check with MB first. Less hassle, no deductible. See what they can do for you.

I checked with them...they said they will offer me these 4 options..

3yr/85k - $6274
3yr/100k - $6965
4yr/85k - $6619
4yr/100k - $7518


Keep in mind I have an '06 cls55 with 46k...

What do you guys think?

i am in exactly the same position. my warranty expires pretty soon and have to get one in 2 weeks time. MB quoted me

3 yrs/75K 4427.50
3yrs/100K 6992

for their MBELW.

They also sell CNA warranties (which the guy was saying is a better bang for ur buck) and he quoted me

5yrs/100K 3269
3yrs/72K 2104
CNA has a 100$ deductable.

the mileage on my cls 55 ia ~ 28K.

I dont get breakdown cover with those prices..

I figured it would be higher, it is an AMG. However, you will be covered at any MB dealer. No deductibles, no worry on getting repairs approved.

It is kind of steep, but when you look at costs of just one system, or logic board, you understand why. I looked into this and climate control system is about $2300 to get replaced. Alone. I would probably go for the 4yr/85K. Seems to be the best price and most cost effective.

it is very important that you have extended warranty on your cls55 after 50k. i probably have one of the highest milage CLS55 around, and i have ran into a few problem, supercharged went out, trunk not working correctly, electrical issues.
