Noob Headlight question...dont call me stupid plz :)

Hey guys so I just bought a CLS55 a few weeks ago and I am trying to swap in a white LED to replace my parking light to match the HID. Heres my problem..the manual shows how to replace the bulb and what type of bulb, but no where does it say how to get the unit out to actually make the swap. Am I an idiot? I am assuming the whole unit comes out like on my 911 but maybe not?? Is there some crazinesss I need to perform? Please help the yellow light is killing me and the longer I cant figure this out the more stupid I feel.

You don't need to take the unit out to swap the bulbs. Just open the hood and stick your hand in there to open the cover and take out the bulbs.

If your hand is too big to get the bulb housing out or cannot get a good grip on the housing, use a plier to grip, turn and pull the housing out.

Thanks for the info...so there is a whole housing piece that holds all the bulbs that comes out? Is there a latch to disengage or?? I dont suppose you have a decent pic of what I should be grabbing do you?? The pics in the manual dont resemble anything I see in there...

Since I don't have access to the car now, if memory serves me right, you should see two black circular covers on the back side of each headlight assembly. The small one is for high beam and parking light and the large one is for low beam. You can remove the cover by turn the cover 1/4 way counter clock wise. Once remove, you will see the high beam bulb on top and the parking bulb below it. If you take the high beam bulb out first, it will be easier for you to access the parking bulb.
