Keyless Go is a must, bi-xenons, parking sensors(preference), dynamic seats, trunk closer is always a nice feature to have. Basically your list works is what I would get and then some, also make sure the kompressor works like coolcamden stated, pretty important.

we can all do custom let tunes together!

looks like its well equipped minus the trunk closer and the distronic.
i cant remember the full option list. all i remember is that i got everything except the distronic when i ordered. i never use cruise control so i didnt bother with that one.

The car is under the certified warranty so i am not too concerned with the kompressor not working...i suppose this must be a common problem?

also how do i know if the car is equipped with the dynamic seats...i suppose since it's not listed, the car does not have it?

there should be a button labeled dynamic by the pulse button and the lumbar controls.

Do you have the 030 package? LSD, limiter increased to 186 mph, upgraded tires to 186 mph, upgraded compound front brakes, alcantara steering wheel, 2 piece rims. It's MSRP is $9,500.

oh right i forgot about the performance package.
i took delivery in summer of 2005 and unfortunately that option was not available when i ordered the car, otherwise i would have selected that option.
there wasnt even any news of it at the time so i didnt even know i could have waited for it!

the one thing i really want from the PP is the LSD. ill probably buy a quaife one later on down the road. i want to get closer or past the 700hp mark first.

Can you share with us how do you plan for a 700hp 55?

He'll most likely go to VRP or so, I believe he already have a Pulley and tune. If you add some intake,headers, TBs, exhaust, cams, port and polish the cylinder heads, you can be close to achieving 700hp on the engine. On European Car's site, a E55 with the VRP700 dynoed 570rwhp, 604rwtq. To the crank that's 713hp, 755 ft-lbs of torque.

The parts in a regular VRP700 kit is:

1. VRP Boost Pulley Kit with belt wrap
2. VRP 80 mm Throttle Body Kit
3. VRP Long Tube Headers
4. VRP Carbon Fiber Air Box with cover and Python Tubes
5. VRP cams in Stage III heads
6. VRP Heat exchanger kit
6. VRP custom tune with Powerchip

Jikjak is already on his way there as he dynoed 480rwhp and 562rwtq. That's 600hp and 703ft-lb of torque on his engine. His mod list is:

Kleeman 168mm pulley, headers, downpipe (replaces primary cats) and K2 ECU flash
VRP CF airbox, CF intake tubes and X-pipe

Wait until he gets an 180mm pulley, and retune! His CLS is strong for sure!

yup those are my mods and dyno results at this point in time.

i have 82mm TB, heat spacers and vadim's mid section exhaust on the way.
im still waiting to get a cooling upgrade (supposedly from jangy) and then i will get the 180mm pulley and a custom dyno tune.
after all that i may consider getting cams.

getting it lowered this week...looking for some 20's, might go with forgiato's...going to hold off on the performance stuff for now...need to get used to this amount of power first

id like to get an idea on how much differnce my mods are making.
havent been able to run with any 55s yet.

Your car is making some great numbers given the smaller pulley and light mods you have now. I can't wait until everything is on, the TB, x-pipe, bigger pulley and tune to see what you pickup, cams as well.

ill slap in the TB and mid section exhaust (eliminates the H pipe and secondary cats) when i get back in town. 180mm pulley and tune will have to wait. working with a local shop to become an LET distributor in my area and then we will organize a custom dyno tune. wayne is going to come down once we get enough people committed.

i think that high stall tq converter is a must have later on down the road as well.
