Its just great they can produce cars with 500 HP that are as reliable as Honda's, haha. The rims are TSW bremmas and have had no repairs despite New Yorks famous pot holes. They take quite a few shots every month. I went through 6 rims in one year with my S.C. Jaguar over the same roads.

It would kill me to live in the east with the wet weather factor. My car only leaves its bedroom when the sun is out and on the street its always cover parked.

How do you keep it so clean?

I bring it to Detailing by Bruce as his shop is well know locally and the work speaks for itself. They also let you hang around and pick up some ideas for mods.

MB prices

There are many different reasons we, the owners pay mercedes benz prices.

There mechanics know the cars very well and most of us have not worked on cars since fuel injection and electronic ignitions replaced carburetors and distributors.

Not everyone has or is willing to spend the time working on cars or has a place to work on them.

If you make $300/hr as an attorney or doctor and a professional at MB will do the work for $125/ hour it like paying yourself a reduced rate of $175 hour ( if you go to work and are not out golfing).

That said you can do the enjoyable stuff like polishing the beast till peoples eyes hurt from the glare ! Small exchanges and simple swaps done at the curb.

Shopping for wheels, tires and other mods that all take a good amount of time and has a learning curve. Some just enjoy do all the work themselves and to some extent as most of us do some of the work, but is it not a personal decision how much and what your capable of ?

Suppose your 60 and have arthritis would you expect someone later on to be posting you were raped, stupid and lazy over wiper blades ?
