Just picked up CLS63!
Hello,
new to the forum. I just picked up my 2007 CPO CLS63. I love this car! I have got the premium II package and the AMG performance package. The headliner is suede! I saw that, and that was the straw.
I like this car so much, I want to sleep in it, which is fine because my wife snores anyway, and our toddler doesn't sleep through the night. Though, both the kids like it too. I think they inherited my good taste.

Thanks. I've seen your posted times. Your getting 12.0, wow, and I think you said your car is stock also.
I'm thinking it was a score to find an 030. Car is cherry.
28K miles. Certified preowned, for what it is worth, but the dealer, Fletcher Jones does a good job of reconditioning. Car looked brand new when I picked it up, and I get the extra year of warranty. I didn't buy the extended warranty, still not sure if I should or not, but I don't see a lot of posts related to engine and drivetrain problems. Step up from what I was driving.

It was i beautiful condition. I have to admit they do a great job of reconditioning their cars. (Some dealerships CPO cars are shameful.)
I couldn't see eye to eye on them with price. Do you mind me asking what you ended up paying for it? (maybe by PM?)
I ended up opting for a black p2, trunk, and parktronic car w/o the 030 package. 24k miles. (just picked up this past weekend) for quite a bit less then fletcher would offer me.

Hey
don't be rough on my car!
End of the year, they dropped the price $7500 and I got them to throw in Lojack and got a discount on that puck thing for the bluetooth.
They wanted a lot for it, but they did drop the price, probably because it was the end of the year. And I also got ready to walk out.
It was nice, wasn't it?
Still can't decide if I should buy the extended warranty or not.
Probably still a lot (low 60's) for an 07 CLS63, but nice condition, with all the options.

It is a tremendous car. I have 38k and no probles at all with the engine.
After 39 months of ownership I have learned alot.
I find a 265/30/19 in front is amazing for smooth yet crisp handling.
My car has an ECU tune and phenolic spacers. The IAT sensor has been relocated, and I recently found the very best spot for it.
Keep in mind our cars are beefier than the standard CLS 63. The brakers ARE HUGE and this limits your rim choices. The stock 19"s are heavy heavy heavy.
Overall I think you can run this car for at least 100k more miles with minimal engine trouble. The massive V8 N/A with 28k on the clock should be broken in.
My car is making 15-30 hp over stock. It takes quite a bit of effort getting to 12.0 , very very challenging indeed for the 030 car.

Congrats on your purchase. I just picked up mine on the 18th Designo package same wheels and 030. I really like this car too.
