Blacked Out CLS55 w/Kleemann K4
Yes the long chrome strip on the trunk was done in matte black to create some seperation.
Its truly amazing with just a few minor cosmetic changes to a cars trim pieces can completely change the look it. We also installed a Kleemann K4 package on this car and took some video clips. I know a lot of people were wondering how loud the Kleemann headers would make these cars over stock. Soon as all the editing is done we will post it up.
List of items that were blacked out,
Fog light rings
Side Markers,
Full Front Grill
Window Trim
Side/Rear Badges
Door Handle Trims

Good start...a couple of suggestions:
5 spoke concave rims
paint the rear plastic diffuser gloss black or matte black
lower it
tinted (30%) headlight and foglight shielding
front lip spoiler

Tell me about it. Some ADV5's or 5.1's would look sick on it. The client's idea was to try and keep it stock looking as possible. We were thinking about doing wheels but wanted to see how the paint came out first. We were also thing of doing the tips black too but again he liked it the way it is now before we did them so we took it off the to do list.

How were you able to paint the window trim black? I went to a high end bodyshop up here and the guy was telling me I would be better off to put some black gloss film on it. Doesn't make sense. I don't think his shop is experience in doing those type of detail work. Wish you guys were up North. I want all the plastic and chrome off the car. He also told me it would be better if I bought a carbon fiber piece for the rear diffuser because it would give him a smoother surface to work with, then he could paint it black. WTF? Thanks Matthew. Car looks awesome.

How far north?
Might be worth the trip down
I will look into this with out body shop. It just requires some TLC and prep work. Some sanding, primer, sand , primer, paint, clear.......
