Hankooks Ventus V12 Evos. I run them and am very happy. They get great reviews and are WAY less expensive. I highly recommend as the best bang for your buck! Don't believe me- see the reviews on Tire Rack and Car & Driver.

+2 on the Hankooks, a very nice looking tire at a great price and the performance is not too bad once they are warmed up, although they are not too great in the wet.

Hankooks Ventus V12 are good tires for the price.

They're very quiet and extremely inexpensive although im not sure if they're readily available in the stock sizes for the CLS63.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Bent rims would cause vibrations when driving, and wet would cause sliding. I'm just south of you, and with the lower road temps, there is more sliding while the tires are cold.

In dry weather tires were fine. Whener it rained it felt like my tires were out of balance and vibrate.
