which one is the TCU in a cls55?
I opened the passenger footwell in the cls55
there are three boxes, a big silver metal box marked mercedes, a medium black plastic box marked siemens, and a small black plastic box marked mercedes
which one is the tcu? the big silver box?

Hi folks. Any idea where the TCU is in a RHD CLS55 please? There is nothing in the foot wells - I’ve lifted all the carpets! It’s not in the engine bay fuse box - that only contains fuses, ESP module and engine module. It’s not under the fuse box either! Is the TCU part of the transmission on the 722.6 gearbox in the 55? On eBay the part looks like a small black box so I’d be surprised if it was in the transmission? Thanks.

Passenger footwell under the glovebox. Remove carpet then lift up and away the polystyrene that's under the carpet from the metal plate. Undo the 3 nuts holding the plate in place. Fold the plate forward pulling the top down as the bottom is more or less held in place by wires so pivot from there. Now you can see your tcu.
