HRE 845R's refinished [pics]
picked up these HRE 845R's on mbworld's classifieds for a good price, they did need some refinishing. The barrels were not too bad, a good cleaning and polishing brought them back, but the centers is where they really needed some work, I was going to just polish them up and put them on as is, but the chips on the centers were just bothering me.. Had them coated in P7 Grey over at Orange County Plating, they have done a few sets of wheels for me, and they do a great job. Even talked to them about the baking temp and from my research should be within the temps that HRE uses, but not really too concerned with that. Some old HRE's got a make over.
I do have a set of Forgestar F14's that I will be posting for sale as soon as i can get pics.
Wheels as they were when i got them
you can see some of the chips on the wheel centers, this wheel i would probably rate at 4/10.

back together after replacing a few of the fasteners, man were those a pain to find, M8 10.9 grade bolts.
P.7 Grey, its like a satin finish with a texture to it, with a bit of a shimmer.
