the power is very very addicting....Great choice going with the CLS55. Very classy 4 door coupe that's fast. The best part is that it's built for mods if you ever get bored.
26k miles and counting!

would like to remove the resonator soon as its a little to quite, tune and pulley in near future as well, lots of options seems like.
glad everyone else is enjoying the 55 as much as me.
over the winter want to do oil change, delete resonator, change out the dusty oem brake pads for akebonos, and get my axle/diff and trans fluid changed out, been reading and bookmarking DIY threads for 2 weeks now.... should be fun... lol.

I made an offer on it when I was shopping. That was 5 months ago and it was listed over $40K.
I found one locally with low miles for a bit less. Just have to be patient. The pricing on these cars is all over the place. The same car with around the same miles could go for $35K or $45K; I'm not sure where some of the dealers come up with the prices. I'm guessing they are expensive at the auction so the dealers have no choice but to eye gouge.
If you're not the DIY type in regards to upgrades and repairs, nor have a good friend who is, won't be surprised if some hearty repair bills find their way in your possession
No one around here that I know of for cosmetic stuff. I do it on my own. The internet is your best friend. I've got some 3pc 20" wheels for sale if you're interested!

Good info! With what I already know and with all the good information I'm getting from reading online and on this forum. I hope to do as much of the servicing and repairs as I can on my own. I'm looking forward to learning all the different systems on this car since it sounds like eventually they all need some attention to keep the car in great shape. I'm gonna look at one soon that is looking promising. Hopefully it's as good as I'm told it is over the phone. I said I was gonna just buy it and leave it alone but I already know that's not gonna happen. I'm probably gonna be the the next Benz addict haha. Thanks for everyone's feedback.
