Scored a 2nd hand Autel MaxiPRO MP808-TS. This thing is a beast!
I bought it to calibrate the Airmatic suspension (1 side is higher) and do much more![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Went to work on the suspension calibration yesterday and almost have it fixed (one side is/was lower). Then after being done with it for the day I find this thread: https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...ts-o-pics.html
I will check again maybe later today or in next few days haha

Awesome! I only need a 3.5mm aux port, as I still use a iPod Video 80GB (with the original harddrive and battery)
I dont use any streaming services

Had a mini panic attack as I could not open the CLS, not even with the spare key? In the end it was as simple as swapping out the batteries for some fresh new Varta CR2025 batteries. The key holds 2 batteries as shown below

And I was able to calibrate the Airmatic suspension using the Autel! Happy days as this solved my steering issue (car pulling to 1 side, even though the alignment is correct). My ride height is back to normal, but I decided to keep it this way for now. Its a bit more comfortable, and I dont mind that at all
!
Yes lowered looks better, but I dont like the added camber which shreds the insides of the tyres. Solving that is too pricey at the moment (aftermarket arms front and camber arms back) as I have other priorities (cooling system small overhaul first)

If you do not have a new style key fob, I recommend you get one. I have one original key fob like yours; as it aged the battery pack would pull out of the shell if I was not careful. The issue was I had my house keys attached to the key fob. Twice I put my keys in my pocket only to later find the front part of the key fob on the ground. That 18-years-old key fob is now "retired" to backup key fob duty. I invested in two of the new-style key fobs. Pricey but the peace of mind is worth it. Also, if you ever pull the circuit board out of the key fob, reinsert it very carefully; I once broke off the infrared emitter on the end of the circuit board. High magnification head loupe plus a fine-point soldering iron and I had it repaired with the correct polarity on the infrared diode.
Concur with you on calibrating the suspension to within manufacturer's specifications; like you, I found the ride improved and tires last longer.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! I kinda have the same idea, hope to be helpful with my thread while I am learning the car myself haha
Changed the supercharger oil again, last time was in july 2022. After this change I will keep a longer interval (maybe 2 years?)
Praise the lord the fill plug is magnetic, else it would have been a disaster when you drop it.

And an Autel scan showed me I had another broken interion temperature sensor. The N70/b1 was throwing an error. I found out its the one on the overhead control panel and got to work. Also replaced the 2x T10 bulbs, as they are probably 18 years old.

The sensor is located behind the little grill on the bottom right

After opening the unit (just remove the T10 torx screws and pull it apart gently), it was apparent why...Broken thermistor.

I ordered 5x new thermistors (type: NTC MF52-103 3435 10K ohm 5%) as they were only 30 eurocents a piece!

Mission success! I checked with the Autel and it receives normal temperatures again

The longest part of this repair was getting the rear view mirror back in place. I used a small 6mm wrench (even grinded the head down more to get it flatter), compressed the spring and stuck it in there, so only 1 of the pins is protruding. Keep pushing on the mirror and simultaneously jank the small wrench out and the other pin will shoot into place, locking the mirror back in original position.

And replaced the screen protector of the Autel MaxiPro MP808TS with a fresh new one. Well, my girlfriend did this, as she is way better at this.

One of my CLS55 buddies cleaned his exhaust tips recently and I was shocked how much of a difference it makes visually. So I also went to work ![naughty](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/naughty.gif)
