Just thought it would be interesting. Isn't AMG going 6.3 V8 NA with around 500hp. They will be taking M-division head-on in the NA battlefied. Going to be a good fight.

Brabus should work harder on there performance numbers because 6 sec from 0-100 isn’t acceptable at all and doesn’t justify the price of 150,000 I understand they use the best technology and leather but still its not a complete car.

I was thinking the same thing! 0-62 in 6 seconds! The CLS500 is quicker than that.
And 0-200 kph a 5.3 second difference, an eternity.
Must have been something seriously wrong with that test car.

AMG GTC Roadster, E63s Ed.1, M8 Comp. Coupe
This is simply a "tuned" CLS500, drilled to 6.1 liter. Not sure where all the money went, but Brabus is not really known for hardcore performance tuning as much as being a luxury customizer.
The numbers prove that...

I agree with Wolfman. Brabus cars definitely don't put down the power they claim to....at least I have yet to see a brabus car magazine tested that has numbers in line with the horsepower and torque ratings.
They do some good work on interiors, bodykits and wheels, but honestly I think their performance modifications are overpriced, overestimated, and underwhelming.

MBWorld Fanatic!
That definetly seems to be the case with this particular CLS. I thought even a stock CLS500 was capable of high 5 second 0-60 times so this baffles me. I know Brabus does offer some crazy engine swaps that lead to insane acceleration and performance but this is obviously not the case here. $150K for a car that cant even hit 60 in less than 6 seconds? The interior must be trimmed in solid gold, where did all that money go?
