Hey guys, new to the C55/C32 forums. Basically I am debating on picking up a used C32 AMG as I lack the money to put down on a new C55. Im 21 and looking to get out of the sports car. I drive a 05 sti. What do you guys think of the C32 AMG, do you like them? How reliable are they? WHat is the typical price I can pick one up thats used? Anything I should look for?

I sold my Stage 4+ WRX to get the C32. Welcome to the fold.

If you are in to modding cars you will want the C32. You can get 450+HP out of it pretty easily. The C55 is fairly limited without spending big bux.

Not looking for something to mod heheh I just want something that has luxury while maintaining power. Would it be possible to pick up a C32 for 35k?

Well, the C55 has a nicer interior, and has a better exhaust note, but the C32 is a tad bit faster according to the mags.

I dont know where you are from, but it would probably be pretty easy to find one for that price.

Just watch out so you dont get dissapointed because the C32 isnt half the fun as the STI to drive... But it is faster on the highway, it has the luxury and looks, and you the comfort isn't even something you can compare with a subaru

I wouldnt call a C32 a sports car, its more of a regular car with really good handling, brakes and acceleration...

Well i know the C32 isnt a sports car, thats why I like it. I am in the market for a luxury car. But the C32 is luxurious, but yet has some punch to it.

I paid 41 for my 2003 with 13K miles on it back in July of last year. Had all options except the navigation

That's a good car. Navi + BIxenons + 18" OEM + Cd changer +racing pedals + H&R springs + Sway bars + Lorinser grille+ etc etc.. not too mention very low mileage + extended warranty
wouldn't be surprised if the final price is in the upper 30s.

Heres another one. 2002 C32 AMG 25,277 miles on the car. Has a sunroof, no navi no lighting. Dealer is asking almost $37,000 for it. It doesnt sound like a good price to me, what would be a good offer?

I think this car looks great. There is very little if anything I would do to it if I got it.

If you're in the market for a C32, my advice is it MUST have xenon (preferably bixenon) and nav. You're gonna end up getting them anyway.

PS- I bought my CPO 02 C32 w/xenons+nav in Dec 2004 with 000138 mi for $40050.00. Compared to what I saw out there, I feel good about the price.
