benzo: When we ran our C32 at the drags we had to use Dunlop Super Race R-compound road race tires. That was part of the rules of EuroTuner GrandPrix. We had to use the same tire at the drags and at the track.
Since drags were first, we did not want to destroy the tires at the drags and then not be able to run at the Streets of Willow.
If we had a chance to use drag tires, I am sure we would be able to get into 1.7s and low 12s on ET.

C55, how to get best times?
Hi guys,
For those of us new at this, could you give us some basics on how to get best times.
DO you turn traction control off?
Do you use the paddle shifters or the stick?
What RPM is best to switch gears?
thx, joe

Yes, you want to have the ESP off.
You want to put the car in the lowest gear, and let it changeup automatically at redline.
You will also want to launch the car using powerbraking.

Not sure exactly how much boost it's running, I will get a gauge on it sometime soon. However I believe it runs 1.5psi more than Renntech/etc..
I think come this summer I can get high to mid 12.6's out of it but that will be it with only a pulley.

OK, DAMN I NEED AN LSD!!!!
well I took it to the track last night, and man there is so much more I am leaving on the table by not having an LSD!! This one wheel crap is for the birds. OH well onto the numbers, and as you can tell I am not very happy with my times. Can someone let me know if they look normal
60' 1.987
300' 5.569
1/8 8.535 mph 82.12
1000' 11.061
1/4 13.185
mph 106.52
this was my best run when the temp was right around 80deg (I dont know what the humidity was). What I am more disappointed with is the shifting. As I have posted before I would love to firm it up, I think I am losing a good .2-.3 (tenths of a second) if not more over the slow shifting. Now I did take the C32 on Friday to have the HID coded into the car and they said that they were replacing some part in the tranny (dont know what it does, but is on order) I am hoping that fixes the "problem". I am also going to take the car next week to dyno it (dynomometer) and see what it is pushing to the rear wheels. How much do you guys think an LSD might help on the launch??
