Good chance since it is held on a Friday...let me go ask CLKVEGAS. I'm going to see him on Tuesday. Are you running anyone in particular?

Cool... hopefully I'll see you there. I'm not running anyone in particular, just trying to hit 11's. I'm looking for two rear wheels 17's, to mount up some drag radials. Anyone?

I have a set of 18" (RENNtech monolite) with Nitto NT01 275/35 rear...
thing sticks like glue!

You can also keep your 19" and get the new Pilot Sport Cup -
just released the 265/30 and 235/35 for 19"

Oh... then that wouldn't be good. LOL. I meant to ask you, what is the rear-sub frame mod? Weight reduction? Sounds badass whatever it is.

Dyno

Dyno is like running a car before computers. I run on track and of the track on Dyno mode only! If you are a race driver it's the only way to drive this car and get the most performace.

Best tires for the C are the PS2s, IMO. Goodyear GS-D3 is also an awesome tire, but a little heavier, I think. Toyos are great also. Pirelli's suk for the track, but are probably the quietest and most comfy on the street. 19" wheels are probably going to hurt your performance a little, unless you spend the bux and get something in the sub-20 pound range.

BTW, that's a very good time for essentially a stock C55, especially with Pirelli "P-Zerotraction" tires. Did you have a full-size spare in the car at the time?

I find that the car is MUCH slower at the drag strip in dyno mode, then with ESP simply set to off. I think, as BMW Instructor pointed out, that the car is faster on a road course with it in Dyno Mode.
