What are your best times at the drag strip?
well I took it to the track last night, and man there is so much more I am leaving on the table by not having an LSD!! This one wheel crap is for the birds. OH well onto the numbers, and as you can tell I am not very happy with my times. Can someone let me know if they look normal
60' 1.987
300' 5.569
1/8 8.535 mph 82.12
1000' 11.061
1/4 13.185
mph 106.52
this was my best run when the temp was right around 80deg
(I dont know what the humidity was). What I am more disappointed with is the shifting. As I have posted before I would love to firm it up, I think I am losing a good .2-.3 (tenths of a second) if not more over the slow shifting. Now I did take the C32 on Friday to have the HID coded into the car and they said that they were replacing some part in the tranny (dont know what it does, but is on order) I am hoping that fixes the "problem". I am also going to take the car next week to dyno it (dynomometer) and see what it is pushing to the rear wheels. How much do you guys think an LSD might help on the launch??
I had fun though... I was also told that the driver adapting transmission may be keeping me from getting the 15.1 promised by MB.. We should try that crazy rest method next week... are you going?
best run with high 60's f and altitude of a little more than 4500 ft
at palmdale i ran
13.8 @ 99. something
k&n filters, modified airbox and exhaust(muffler only), i also used octane booster that time, usually i ran low 14 with high98mph trap speed
275/30/19 yokohama avs sport
most likely reentech will have 1
also amg in germany might make one, they do for a clk55

Mid 12's in a C32 is awesome
Josh,
Whats up man? You need to take your car to another track. I have recently put on my SL-55 intake and green filters and my car feels faster. I need to get back out there.
Have you gotten any slicks yet?
Who has knowledge about Optima batteries and which one I should buy? What will be the benefits (weight, etc.)? Also, I plan on putting a couple 10" subs in the trunk, so need a battery that can do the job.
