two quick contests, nrx and honda 200
what the hell is a NRX and a Honda 200?
I used to have a civic w/ GSR motor running a T3/T4 @ 12 lbs laying down 13.2 and my buddy had a stock s2000 laying down high 14's.

The S2000, with a good driver, can give you a good run for a short sprint if you are not in the C32 powerband when the race starts, such as if you start the race from 30 MPH (bottom end of 2nd gear) or 60 MPH (bottom end of 3rd gear). However, with equal drivers from a stop, the C32 will whomp the 2000. I beat a 2000 in the 1/4 mile by 15 car lengths or so. A modded S2000 is a different story (especially a supercharged one).

1. Too few seats
2. Too little torque
The handling on the NSX is freaking sublime though. I installed the NSX-R shocks/springs and upgraded the brakes and clutch as well. It's a great handling car, but the $10,000 comptech supercharger still wouldn't bring the car up to C55 levels of acceleration. For that I'd need to go with a high boost kit (injectors/pulleys), a fuel management system (that would require me to switch from OBDII(really 1.5 on the '95) to OBDI, forged pistons, headers, exhaust, etc... All that would have left a gaping hole to the tune of around $35k (including labor) in my wallet and what would I have? 400rwhp & 320ft. lb. That's a hell of a lot of work for not a hell of a lot of performance. The car would also have been less reliable and that's not what I was looking for.
I love my NSX, but 30k miles was enough. It's time to move on.
