My stock motor dyno results

hi,

i have a 2002 c32, w/ about 42k miles. i just ran a dyno today on a dynojet 248 and the temperature was 81-degrees. my car is stock except for an eisenmann race exhaust. my numbers of my best run was 291.3 rwhp, and 285.8 rwtrq

here's my question: my AFR is 12.9. from what i've read, this is a slight bit high. should i be concerned? what should i make of this?

i had four runs, three of which were made in 3rd gear and the last one in 4th gear, with my numbers being within 5rwhp and torque within each other, torque or hp always remained over 280. here's a picture of my graph.

thanks

I got a '03 model.....stock!

On 10/30/03 we both dyno (on a DynoJet) our cars (Norm C32 and myself). He did it on Dyno mode, I did not; both on 3rd.

My best run (out of 3) was 294.8 RWHP and 292.2 of torque! AFR 12.8 and 12.9 so dont think your AFR is abnormal.

Barometric pressure 29.47; Vapor pressure 0.11; Intake air temperature 66 degrees. Correction factor 0.98 SAE

Norm's car dyno at 301 (or 303) RWHP!!! He always kicked everyones asses on time trials and acceleration runs.....he is a superb driver!

Norm's C32 is gone. He now is a GTO owner! By the way....he kicked my *** from stand still and rolling at 40-45mph (2nd gear). That thing is fast! He recently did 13.2 @ 107mph in his GTO....Stock and street tires!

I like how your dyno curve doesn't drop off until almost 6200 rpms (most C32s with stock exhaust die right at 6000). How many cats are you running with your Eisenmann (i.e., two or four)?

Anyways, nice numbers!

12.9 for F/I is not bad.If you chg the pullies(more boost) then low 12's to high 11's would be a nice afr.Nice #s by the way!

still running the stock 4 cats. eisenmann just replaced the rear section, so i still have stock restonator and cats. i am thinking about removing rear 2 cats, however.

With a couple of cats removed you will probably break into the 300 HP range, and add another 100 rpms to your top end (assuming the rev limiter doesn't ruin the fun).
