C55 wins!
Just wanted to say thanks again for the responce I got on trying to decide between the C55 and the E500. Put my order in today for a 2006 Capri blue with ash interior C55. That is not a typo error, it is a 2006!! Delivery is supposed to be July 2005. Now comes the waiting, lol

I had the 2005 ordered back in Dec. for Feb. delivery.Then I started thinking (that was I mistake!!!) that I might like the E500 more. I also had back in my mind that if I decided that the C55 was going to be it. the 2006 model might have more hp and more options. WRONG! So back to the C55 being the one.

I am sure making a decision has always been hard.
The money for my C55 , I can buy a fully loaded E500 here.
Look back, if I have a E500 now , I would:-
1. have a top model E class with good respect and status symbol
2. More Comfortable (with Airmatic) , powerful saloon
Above are main advantage of E500 over a C55 but unfortunately all shadowed by the S-class.
But one thing for sure , C55 owners have got a younger heart who would not want to resist the AMG tempatation. Besides, how many people on Earth have the chance to own a AMG with German built signature engine
