Did you try your spare key?
If that doesn't work, call the 800 # and get one of those guys out there. They can also check some codes through the satellite.

Good luck...

I would have the dealer check it. Even a relatively new battery that otherwise appears healthy one day can develop and internal short the next day. However, this type failure normally doesn't reverse itself, so don't be too quick to condemn the battery. Maybe the dealer could pull some fault codes (assuming they were not erased ... I am not sure what type memory is used for that).

Rgds,
Norm

Is there a malfunction notification in your display?

Also, check for loose connections between the battery posts and the car.

Hey Silva,

I had the exact same thing happen to me twice, both times I took it to the dealer and they changed the battery. THey said one of the cells in the battery keeps draining the rest of it or some crap. Who knows, it scared the hell out of me when it happened because i drive my car daily and never drain the battery.

Same Here

It was a bad driver's seat control unit. It is a common failure on the C's as per local dealer. Sometimes they develop a small drain, sometimes a surge that can last hours and drain your battery.
Have your dealer check for fault codes on that module.
