I thought the brakes on CLK 55 and C55 were changed last year (13.4 inch rotors up front with 6 piston calipers and 13 inch rear rotors). Now somebody told me that the C55 has the same brakes as the C32 (13.6 inch rotors up front with 4 piston calipers and 11.8 ich rotors in rear). What is true?

Yesterday I purchased an extra set of front pads for my C55 in case I need them at the track in Michigan next week. I specifically had the parts guy check to see if they are different than the C32 pads I used to purchase for the C32. They are the same identical pads, same product ID number.

Yep, the C32, C55 and W209 CLK55 up to 2004 all have the same brakes.
only the 2005 CLK55 got the upgrade of 6piston front and 4 piston rear. C55 has the exact same brake as the C32.
