Clear bra in D.C.

Anyone in the DC Metro area know a good place to get clear bra installed besides the stealership? If so, how much did you pay?

Paint & Lamp Protective Film - 3M Certified Installations

I am with Auto Armour - placed in thread above.

My involvement with paint & lamp protective film design & installation goes back over 5 years, up until the past 8 mo.s in SF bay area, CA. Film is all I do, I am not a detailer who buys pre-cut kits & does an installation here & there....without naming any names. I do a lot of exotics and track car work so I know the film and its attributes and limitations very well as I have seen it used in extreme conditions across a wide window of time. I am expanding established bus. to Balt./DC/No.VA as well as Deutschland (working with some OEMs in that EU roll-out).

I use 8 mil 3M-Scotchguard film on paint and 20 mil custom made film on lamps (uses 3M adhesive but 3rd party urethane - it is bulletproof). All my designs are proprietary, digitally designed and computer cut IN HOUSE for precise fit to all makes, models, submodels & vintages; I have all MB/AMG models going at least 5 years back. I can do custom designs for super extended coverage (not really necessary, all leading edges are fully wrapped) or non-OEM aero packages/parts.

I can send anyone a shadow sheet of available design(s) for an auto to see exact coverage(s) available. I can also supply a SRPI (suggested retail price installed) per kit piece. From a preservation of aesthetics and value standpoint it is - in my opinion - the best purchase decision one can make for an auto.

As a 3M certified installer my work conveys a 5 yr. 3M warranty on material performance to the end consumer and additionally I extend a parallel 5 yr. warranty on kit installation and the 20 mil lamp film.

I cover the entire Balt.metro/DC/No.VA area and I will do mobile intalls weather conditions / appropriate covered space permitting.

Also, if anyone wants general info. on attributes of different films out there, kit design, longentivity, removeability, etc. let me know and I'll be happy to share my experience. I do follow a general policy of not discussing other installers or designers by name, however I can help with inquiries that will help ferret out a good design & installer. At the end of the day what I want most for my business is for end users to have a positive paint & lamp protective film experience and to spread the gospel thereafter.

I got my clear bra done this week at http://www.rdblockva.com.

Al did a great job. I highly recomend anyone in the metro DC area to visit Al and Roadblock. While I was there I learned that the local Ferarri dealership sends al their cars to Al for work. If you have not seen the off topic board check out the F430 I saw when I was there picking my car up Friday:

No one says what it costs!!!!!!!! I paid 678.20 incl tax for the 3M stuff. I think it is way too much but did not seem to have much choice here. What did you guys pay, and what do you guys charge?????
