How to launch the C55?

I'm taking my car to the Drag Strip tonight to see what kind of numbers I'll pull pre-Kleemann. I'd greatly appreciate if you guys could share various launching/shifting techniques for our c32/c55 car. I'm very familiar with shifting and launching a manual tranny car, but obviously that doesn't apply with our cars.

Thanking you in advance.

Yes a monkey can do it! LOL Actually even a spider can do it! lol I would just leave it on autoshift mode. When are you getting you S7 done? Maybe we can compare notes later S7 vs S8/N? :p

I'm hoping to have it picked up by July 18th. I still have a little convincing to do with the wife, but I am 99% confident she will let it fly.

I take it by your sn that you have a e55? What do you mean when you say s8/n? Nitrous?

LOL... I hear ya. It's not easy to spend some serious $$$ on mods. But, I just think about how much fun I'll have everyday I drive my car.

Nitrous is cheat gas

dragonAMG, try a buncha ways of launching your car.

I'm not sure if the C55 suffers from heat soak, but the W211 AMG's do, so take that into consideration if it applies.
