Red face I couldn't be without it, so I bought it back.

Okay, so I traded my C32 after the tranny quit again for a nice 2005 E 500. Found out the C clip came off the tranny shifter rod which is the way it got stuck in "R". Got to thinking and decided to trade my Porsche back for the C32. Payments are now $50 less a month then when I owned it 3 days ago. I must really love this car with all the hassles its given me. Reminds me of an old girlfriend, maybe. Anyway my stable is 100% MB now and it feels good.

The plan is to go stealth and four doors helps a lot. The best thing about Porsche is that they are always building better ones.

C32
Personally I will take the Carrera over C32.
I guess the C32 is more suitable for daily use and 2 more doors? And of course a faster car for sure.

I have an allocation for a 997S this fall but I am waffling because the C55 is so good. Maybe just hang out for another year and grab the new AMG C-class. How far out is that car?

I'm guessing 07' spring as an 08' model... If it were me and I really wanted a sports car, I'd get the 7.0 liter 500hp Z06 for less than the wallet flattening 997S...
Eric...

Eric...

I kind of agree. I feel my 911 purchase is more ego driven than anything else, it is a great car but honestly. The ZO6 would be fun but really hard to get for awhile and would do its' own steamroller move on my wallet at 78K OTD here in AZ for a loaded car. But you are right 15K cheaper than sticker on the 911 build and a lot faster.

You could get a certified 996 TT for less money. Had an '01 for a couple months. It was quite the beast.

2005 C55 AMG
Let me add to this thread........I love my C55 too, and I'm just breaking her in still with only 750km on the meter so far. I love the handling, there is so little body roll when taking a fast corner, and the growl, holy cow who needs the radio.

Having a real trunk is an added plus as well.
