May be it was during hot and humid day in NC....
I went to Delaware two weeks ago and man.... it was 95 deg w/ 95% humidity. I don't think S/C car could perform
I heard from some ppl hear that power could drop by 30-40%
If that's the case, it wouldn't be surprising to see that result.
Anyone w/ S/C can chime in? I only had 3-month experience w/ W211 E55.... and it was winter-to-spring time.... and it's rarely humid in Norcal.

the e36 m3 is a great car, used to own one, but on the highway, it can't compete with c32. perhaps the "c32" was just a non-amg C with "v6 kompressor" badging, as i have seen such "V6 kompressor" or "V8 kompressor" badges on non-supercharged benzes. i have never lost to an e36 m3 in the straight, nor an e46 m3 (well, except once when it was raining :p ). the c32 isn't that consistent with power delivery, but, power should not drop to the point where it can't take an e36 m3 on the top end. there are some really really fast FI e36 m3's (and a few 3.2L OBDI n/a monsters) but i don't think this was one of them. in 80+ degree and a relatively humid day heat, i dynoed several times and heatsoak didn't get me that bad, my lowest was 284rwhp and 281rwtrq of the day, and this was the 4th run. highest was a bit over 291 and 286 (at the wheels, corrected), so even after 4 runs, i only lost a measured 7rwhp and 5rwtrq.

List of mods from the E36 M3, copy from bf.com: Intake, catback, underdrive pullies, 15lb wheels, rear seat delete, spare taken out, and me driving . With JUST and intake and the spare in, ect my car went 8.79@ 82. It should be a little bit quicker now. You do the math how fast my car is, that's for you guys to judge. By no means do I think my car is super fast or anything else, I can just drive the dogsnot out of it (straight-line racing)
Mods from C32 wannabe: V6 Kompressor side badge. :p
P.S. It's a rolling start at 80mph so weight wasn't really a factor.
Correct me if i'm wrong.
