WHAT KIND OF WHEELS ARE THOSE. CAN WE GET A CLOSE UP PICTURE?
I LOVE YOUR SIDE VIEW MIRRORS TOO.
Seriously, I'm going to buy an Audi next.
Our family has never really owned an Audi. I bet their service is as good as BMW's!

I'm really liking Audi's products lately, and I love the 4.2L V8. The S4 and the Touareg have, more or less, the same engine. I really want to see the rumored RS6 with the V10 from the Gallardo, minus turbos. Supposedly the engine sharing goes further: I heard another rumor that the RS8 will have the W16 from the Bugatti minus the turbos.
I know there's at least 3 people on here with both an S4 and a C AMG. I wonder how many more are lurking?

Please tell me how. I came from e36 M3 and as fast as the C32 is I would sell it again and go back to my M3 in a heartbeat if my wife had not fallen in love with the C32. Biggest complaint is the fell of the car. I do not want to spend the $ to put new suspension in it but I would spend $400 to imporove.
I haven't pulled the trigger since I don't know if springs alone are a good idea. Does anyone have any experience with just a spring replacement? Will the factory shocks work well with the springs? I know someone on here put just the front Vogtlands in and was very happy with it compared to a previous H&R CO setup.
Now add some 10 cent washers to the lower strut mounting points between the strut and hub assembly. This will gain you and additional -1 to -1.5 degrees negative camber. You will need to have the toe reset after doing this.
Lastly, go with more tire in the front. I run a 245/40/17 on stock rear rims mounted on the front. You can pick them up used very inexpensively, then sell the two front rims for spare tires. The tires fit perfectly on the front with no rubbing if you don't add the washers in step two. If you add the washers then a 3mm spacer is required for strut clearance. The spacer can be made from $5 worth of aluminum in your garage with a drill and jigsaw since they do not need to be hubcentric. Or buy generic 3mm spacers from auto parts stores for about $30 set.
Optionally, go with a set of lowering springs because with a 245 tire in the front it would look dumb with the stock suspension height. With the H&R lower springs the ride is only slightly stiffer than stock.
The car is totally transformed at the expense of more front tire wear on the inside edge. The front still lasts the 12-14k miles of the rears so to me it is no big deal.
