ANYONE rocking 275/30's on lowerd C32??

I just got a set of Toyo T1-R's sent to me.
They usually give me 265/30 T1-S, but I wanted to try a wider tire.
These things look uber wide.
I rub a little hard cornering on the 256/30 19
My fenders are not rolled.

OK, how do I sign up to get tires "sent" to me??

Let me get this straight, you are asking if a wider tire will rub, when already have some rubbing with a smaller tire

LOL........I run 275/30/20 tr1's on my S class ! ... I am Very impressed with them...aggressive tread pattern and they stick well...They also have a rounded tract opposed to other brands.. I have to run them because I will rub with others. You will like them and for the money they cannot be beat....

I dont think its gonna work, instead of paying my exspensive touchless tire machine guy, I will go the safe way and send the 275's back. I would probably have to roll the fenders.
On an S Class they should be fine.
I have a set of Falkens too, I put the 265/30 Falk next to the 275/30.
The Toyo looked like a drag tire compaired to the whimpy Falken FK145
I have heard nothing but good things about the T1-R.
The T1-S is good, but kinda noisy.

Actually you can. I used 275 on my C320 couple years ago when I was back home in Indonesia. First I used Michelin Pilot then I changed it to Toyo ( don't remember the type). You have to roll the fender and do a slightly modification on the wheels wells because even you already rolled your fender, 275 would rub the wheels wells (lowered car). If you wanna check it out.

In that case...yeah you should use 265. You have to drive really careful when running 275 in the back.

Kenzmbz : too bad I don't have more pics. That's the last pics I took before I went back to The States and haven't been back to Indonesia since.

shave the bumper if you are rubbing during hard cornering. it's the plastic tab where the bumper meets the fender.

you run 265/30s on the front? Wow, thats a wide tire for the front! I have the same tire for the rear, but only a 235/35 on the front.

I am having SOOOOOOOOOO much fun rocking my rear stockies on the Pilots.
I ran them with around 24psi and did some insane drifts...lol

sounds fun I did that once when I still had the 17s. The tires were bold and I tried it coming off a freeway off-ramp when there was no cars at night.
