C55 HVAC retrofit to C32?

C55 HVAC retrofit to C32?
One thing I'd like to change about my C32 is the HVAC controls. Does anyone know if it is possible to retrofit the new C55 HVAC controls (pictured) to the C32? I'm hoping it will be plug and play by the dealer.

Well, the size of the component itself is way different, but Suman has completely replaced his dash in his C320 with an '05 dash. It all depends on what you want to spend and the level of your knowledge on the process. I do not believe that you can just change the one component, but someone else may have further information.

From the information that i gathered, its a HUGE job. Do-able.. but huge. Not even worth it IMO. I had been thinking about it until I found out what kind of work involved in this mods.
Not only you're changing the faceplate, but also the wirings, meaning, it goes all the way to sound system believe it or not.
But still, if you decide to do it, go with this instead of the pic u posted.
