Best Bang 4 Your Buck Mods...and the verdict is?
Ok, so I have finally stepped to the plate and done all (I think) of the best bang for your buck mods.
The SL55 intake Y-pipe
The Green Filters
The Resonator Delete
The Phenolic Spacers
All in all I have spent $450.00 and have yielded great results from my but-o-meter.
A few comments/questions for those with similar mods.I can definitely here my supercharger whining more when it spools towards higher RPM. Do I like this, yes, but is this normal?
W/out the resonator the exhaust note is definitely more aggressive
With the green filters, I certainly can feel a little a bit more of a throttle response versus when I had my K&N's
And lastly the Phenolic Spacers which have yet to be put to a test although w/ my first track day approaching, time will tell
I will also be heading to the Speed Way to see if my 1/4 time has improved

i still think the ASP pulleys provides the best bang for the buck...
they run $900+ plus intallation... but according to some members and ASP 20+RWHP
I'm still thinking of getting the Evopackage jus becuase they are a local shop for me, but the price point is still a bit too high.
As stated in one of my earlier post, I'm almost ready for the E55 and dumping more money on the C32 would not be beneficial if I don't plan to keep it.
I'm about 6 to 8 months away from my E55... (I'm waiting for the new E63 /CLS63 to show up... and when some of the 03/04 E55 owners migrate to their new toy, we would benefit of great deals on E55's.
One day I will be able to afford a new one...but until that day I will stick to pre-owned 2 to 3 years old with low milage.

Josh,
Glad to see you improving your ET! I'll be heading to the LVMS soon enough. I just got back from Willow Springs which hands down is rediculous fun
BACK ON TOPIC...
As I have done these minor mods, how many miles before my ECU re-learns it's new friends i.e. the sl55 splitter and resonator delete?
