of course im happy with the car. read through the forums and you will see how much we like our cars. you'll probably find ALL the answers to the questions you have at this point.
make sure you get the lighting package for sure. nav and premium package and phone are personal preference but you gotta get the lighting.
i don't know what to tell you about payments, i put 6500 down

according to the lease calculator on the mbusa website, if you get a C55 with lighting and premium package, with 0 down, 36 month lease, with average yearly mileage at 15,000....you're looking at paying $1180 per month

Yes it'll be horrible when I return my c230 in 15 days and pay them for the 5000 excess miles that I incurred will never lease again.

You should have saw this coming. It would have been a better choice to sell the car instead of returning it if you knew your mileage was over the limit. to you for not being proactive.

I saw it coming a year ago. I did think about selling it but I don't think it will get me the value MB credit is asking for. I'll still have to pay the difference if I sell it.

First off as many others have said, the C55 is a great car

Get lighting, Premium, Nav....the only thing that leasing limits is modifications to you car.......are you planning to keep it bone stock for 3 or more years?? Or returning the car back to original if you do any mods?? In either case, get one and join the party!

The C55 is a great car, no doubt. I looked at the payments and decided to go with a used C32 instead. There are certain things I like better about the C55 and certain things I like better on the 32. They are both awesome.

If you go older, you definitely have to factor in the extra expense of a warranty, 'cause you're going to need it.

Just thought I'd offer up an alternative to get you into a purchase rather than a lease. Nothing like feeling free to do what you want and drive as much as you want. I had to stare at my leased G35 coupe in the driveway during its last six months because I was a little too eager to drive it in the beginning.

Good luck, you can't go wrong with either decision!

5 months ago, MB had a special lease off on C55's.... I think it was 650/month with 4k due at signing.... a very good deal.... without a factory backed lease deal, the lease deals are terrible on the C55, better of buying it...

cars aside, just looking at MSRP vs payment:

you can get a $54k E350 for $529/month for 39months with 4k due at signing.... total paid after the lease is done is about $25,000....

a $56k C55 will run you 4k due at signing and $900 /month for 39 months... a whopping $39,000 after the lease is up.....

yes, I know there is no comparison between the cars.... but it shows what a good deal and not so good deal looks like....

I happened to be at the MB dealer during that time and picked mine up. Weird that they didn't advertise it at all. The money factor was 0.00125 which is about a 3% APR. Unheard of for AMG cars.

yep... I was turning in my C32 lease, and the manager showed me the paper with the C55 deal..... I told him if he had this 3 weeks ago, I would have taken the deal immediately....

They will probably waive this if you buy another car from them.
