Wrong forum and doing a google search will bring up multiple U.S. car transporting services..

I recommend InterCity Transport. Probably around $1,200 via the enclosed carrier

wrong forum? We have a forum regulator here people.

info like this comes from anywhere

i have registered a ton of cars from out of state and you simply pay your taxes on the car when you register it here at the DMV.

You have 14 days from the time the car enters the state to get the car registered and taxes paid. After that they slap you with a bit of a fine.

Transportation runs about 1k like Dragon said.

Fast Cars!
I got my C55 from House of Imports in California and had it shipped to Florida. I think it was like $1,300 or $1,400 that was an enclosed trailer which is all i would ever consider.

thanks Guys!

I'm not sure why would someone think I posted in the wrong forum?

I do own a C32 and I'm a member...

I appreciate the quick response... now I have to put the math together if its worth it.

2004 with 27k miles No xenons, no options, $55k..... price is good but lack of options and transportation is my hold up.

They quoted me ~$900 from Phoenix to Detroit, covered, door to door. I've had problems with other carriers, so I at least trust Fedex to not try anything shady if something DOES happen to my car.

Actually Fedex contracts out their auto transport business so I don't know if the quality will be good or not.

I was going to tell him the exact same thing, I wouldn't trust FedEx. Use InterCity... they are the official mover of the Barrett Jackson Auction (highlines 100k - 2mil). Here are some pictures of my transport using InterCity - https://mbworld.org/forums/showpost....&postcount=147

I would also recommend Exotic Car Transport. They shipped a buddy of mines 360 Modena to Denver and back very nice. They also do all the shipping for most of the south Florida Porsche dealers.

the site is http://www.exoticcartransport.com/

While they claim they are closed transport....I have heard horror stories about these guys. You park your car in a lot or they take your car to a lot and it sits and waits til the enclosed transport is routed to pick it up. Can be sitting in the elements for quite some time.

If that is not an issue, no biggee......if transporting a Benz, you wanna make sure you get "door to door" service and ask them about transfers, you wanna make sure she stays on the truck or is quickly transferred enclosed to enclosed.
