Maserati coupe

I have driven one when they first came out several years ago. Car had a gorgeous silver-grey paint and garish blue interior.
It was quick at 7/10s and up - but at 2/10s paddle shifter is worse than SMG on E46 M3, jerky and annoying as hell in slow traffic.

i love the Gransport. but for the money, i think other cars are a better buy. to me the non-Gransports aren't that attractive. i haven't had experience driving either, however, just my opinion.

Maserati Grandsport:
- engine has lot more torque and lot more responsive than my mod C32.
- suspension is nice and firm in sport mode.
- F1 gearbox is fast but jerky in sport mode.
- Exhaust could be louder after 3000rpm.
- handling is very disappointing.(came with Rosso tire)
- back seats are real
The Grandsport is scary in rapid tight turns, not as bad as my C32 but the SLK350 handles a lot better.

Well I most likely wouldnt be getting the grandsport. It would just be the normal coupe but I would add exhaust and maybe an ecu Im waiting to see the dyno results for that. The other option Ive been looking at is an 05 clk55. If I could find the grandsport for the right price maybe but its not like theres tons of options with maserati.

i was considering one as well but decided against it. have you been to ferrarichat? they have a "other italian" section where maserati owners post.
after exploring the site for a few weeks, i came to the conclusion that Maserati's have REALLY REALLY dumb problems. dash light going out frequently, trunk not sealing properly, cowl shake if you get the spyder, and a list of other non-engine problems that still shouldnt be there.
you could be buying a headache, careful
