Stock C55 gets blown away by SC'd M3
http://www.e46psi.com/videos.php
that M3 is actually a pretty sick race car, very fast (he went low 12s a the track w/o nitrous)... dont let only the AA s/c deceive you, its got massive weight reduction as well!!!
Benny.. if u decide to bring ur car down to RENNTech, fly down with ur car as well, get the nitrous ready.... and I'll set it up!!! Both cars all out, s/c + nitrous vs s/c + nitrous!!!! full weight V8 powered C-class vs stripped weight reduced I6 powered M3, both on high compression, dual power adders, and stock bottom end. The match of the century.

I smoke my friends stock c55 by just as much if not more. Just look at the video of me racing a C32 back when I didn't know how to drive/launch the car -- https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c55-amg-w203/129854-old-video-my-car-racing-c32.html

intake manifold and/or throttle body work (boring/enlarging/porting) piqued my interest and i wondered if they were areas potentially needing improvement. how about head porting, and maybe some valve work to be done? some tuners offer cams, but i guess due to the s/c nature, the ROI from blower-grind cams wouldn't be that high since you can basically only play with the lift and not mess with duration, right? but to get those last 15rwhp, i guess cams would help. anyway, with eisenmann race and no resonator your car will be sick. i bet if you want power for dollar though, that money is better invested in headers, keep stock muffler, then delete rear cats and resonator? maybe 30+ rwhp from that combo? but i do love eisenmann's sound, i just don't think that it provided much power. if you ran 12.7@110mph on bad camber, with 50+ more rwhp and correct camber, we'll see your et's drop dramatically and gain some trap speed too i bet i take it that the s/c m3 has been lightened somewhat, racing seats shells save a lot of weight coming from big power seats. anyway, i would love to see S/C c55 vs. S/C M3! go DragonAMG!!

I am sure i can lower my ET and pick up some trap speed through exhaust work, intake work, and tuning... Im meeting personally with Hartmut on friday to discuss options.
M3 goes beyond seats... no back seats, no interior panels, both recar seats, stripped trunk, etc....... its one bad *** race ready light weight car.

i have this unproven unscientific idea (fantasy?) that c32 would really gain from some top end from some serious intake work. throttle body, intake manifold, and head/valve work to be specific
:p

A WIN IS A WIN !!!!

and I haven't lost yet. And raced almost everything.
Now, before I can race again and use the nos (only at a 50 shot now which is around 30 rwhp) the tuning of the car must be fixed.
The new program and dyno is tomorrow. If all goes well I will not be seeing you shortly. (Sorry benzo)
But if my car is still not running properly, you can see it at RENNtech HQ cause they will own the car!
