Well here I am....

I am tired of driving a 2 seater. It seems that thats all I have had ever since I was 17. I am in the process of selling my old car (350Z Roadster Twin Turbo) and getting a C32. This decision was not easy, but is the best for sure! I have grown up in a MB household, so I have learned to love them and hate others.....*Cough*BMW*... I cant wait to have 4 seats to haul around my friends and still have the power to mess around when the time comes. It may be a while before I get one because I want the rite one.... not the first one... that comes my way. I will be lurking these forums for tips. If you guys have any links to any other sites please let me know. I have checked out C32life.com and that is a very informative site.

Anyway here are a few pics of my last Baby.......

Nice 350 ! How much Hp are you pushing? Welcome to the forum. Remember to post pics when you purchase. WHat are you looking for. What color, year. Recently, i have noticed that the younger crowd ( modders ) are here in the fourm. A few super charged C55 :v Perfect time to join. Welcome and enjoy the MB when you have it.

I was putting down about 360hp and just a bit more Torque. I would run about 12.3 at the track on a good day (decent tires). I think that the onslaught of younger people is the fact that the car is getting older and more affordable. I have seen a C32 as low as 20,999. Thats crazy low. I am looking for something along the lines of mid 20's in black or white (not sure if they have that nice red). All I ever see is silver though, so in the end I may have to settle.

One quick question w/o having to use the search button..... Whats the highest reported engine milage? I have seen some as high as 97,000 miles; but personally would not buy over 60. Whats your guys thoughts? It is a low compression motor, so it should last a bit more.... but the blower may need replacement.... which would be expensive. I am a turbo guy, so I know only the basics of a SC. To keep the discussion short... I had a Supra, 300zx, and 350z TT, I know my fair share about Forced induction and what it can do to motors.

check out the classified forum...there are couple people that were selling their 02-03 C32s for around $28-29k.

nothing really major if you gonna buy a C32 with over 60k miles...most people said that the supercharger won't need to be replaced at all or at least 150k miles.

Look how lush the background on the second pic is. It's so refreshing to see that, especially during the winter where all I can see around here are just brown grass and naked trees.

Bought my car a little over a month ago.. 85k miles.. $27k, When I was looking all I could find was silver and all over 100 miles away. I have only seen 2 other C32's in San Diego. All the dealers had my contact info incase ANY color came in, no calls. Then I found my car local about 30 miles away, Obsidian Black the exact color I wanted so grabbed it. Pretty much fully loaded w/nav. The miles were high but it has a Starmark warranty, which I would recommended trying to get. I love mine so far. I just took pics a couple days ago after a full detail, clay, and wax..

Good luck!

btw, seems like you have both of your rear wheel on the right side of the car, unless you have 17x8.5 on all four.

welcome to the club

pulley and chip would be the best mod..

but you will need to work on getting springs alteast, since handling is kinda soft.

with pulley, chip, plugs, wires, intake, resonator delete and headers, you probably will be looking at 340 to 350 to the wheels.. no bad considering you will not spend over $7k

you probably won't run 12.3 on the C32, specially since traction will be an issue.. but you will be mid 12's to high 12's all day long.

not bad for a 4 door car and under 30k used.

BMW M3's are nice, but to make them run mid to high 12's and drive them daily takes money and patience with the stiff ride. However they do offer the best handling and balance.

I used to have a G35 sedan (bough mine in 02) when they just came out. great engine and handling, but the car was not complete. It felt like a RWD Nissan instead of a RWD Infiniti. Point being that it lacked the entry luxury feel.

I probably wont' go back to Infiniti or Acura (maybe Lexus)... for now I'll stick to MB. Great daily drivers and if you have AMG, those are more rare.

Thanks for the kind words guys.... Much appreciated.

About my rims, personally they suck. I like the complaments but These are just some junk rims I got for 400 for the set (no tires). They are 8.5 all around, so I had to stretch to get some 275's on there. Having the same width all around was the best setup for me to autox... which is what I want the C32 for in the end.

Does anyone know where they stand in the autox as far as stock for stock? I would guess about B stock, but it could even be C if you guys are saying the handling is not all too hott. I would want to stay with just a stock engine untill I get the handling down with some stiffer springs/shocks, just so they dont bump me into a crazy class, Maybe I shoud make a new topic for this?

Thanks,
-Mike

Hi Frank, I read your post and was like.. nah.. can't be.. but I just went and checked and damn if you weren't right!! Good eye! I didn't even notice over the past month, and now I can't believe I missed it.. Well as I think about it now.. either I fix it, or get new wheels... :v

Man, how did you even catch that!? wow! Is it because of the lip on the front wheel?

I personally would love to buy from someone on this forum. If only my car was already gone I would not mind getting a plane ticket and driving from anywhere to get the rite one. The people on this forum are fanatics and I can assume that they take prestene care of theirs....

How true When I found my C-32, I flew from Sa-Town to Hotlanta and drove it back. Hopefully I will be as lucky when I decide to up-grade
