AutoX Stock class

So where do you guys run in the stock class. I would assume B-Stock but according to the list they arent in there.

I would assume A-stock as the E46 and V8 S4 both reside there. Can't say for sure though. I am interested to hear a definitive answer on this.

So the next question is whether the C32 and C55 would be placed in the same class. I notice the '00 - '03 S4 is in DS.

I am interested to hear a difinitive answer, as well. I'm with jpog on A-stock as that's where the SLK55 and CLK55 live.

Not necessarily.

I'd bet money it's A-Stock. I just emailed my local SCCA Registration dude for a final answer. I'll post his reply.

It really does not matter what class they put you in, you will get killed by most other cars.. Just go out and have fun.

Here's the response I got:

that's a tough one.
there is no specific stated class for the car, based on
the specs it seems to match well with the slk55's v8
I am willing to bet it would be A-stock, but your best
bet is to contact the national office and have them
give you an official statement. prevents arguments
ya know?!?!?
I'm sending an email to national today. I'll post the reply.

Doing more research and I've decided that F Stock is probably more appropriate for the C32. I'm asking permission to run that class locally.

I ran FS this past weekend after verifying on the message board and finding out that E55 is also in FS. FS is usually for V8 sedans. I'm not sure C32 falls in that category since it is a supercharged V6. You might even be able to get yourself into DS since that's where the turbocharged S4 runs...
