E55 wheels are definitely not the same. I have seen a C and CLK who were able to fit them, but the CLK had a machine shop do some custom work to make them fit w/o rubbing and the C reported having extreme rubbing issues. I curbed one of my rear wheels and had it refinished with excellent results. It turned out so great that I ended up having him refinish the lips on two of my other wheels that had some small scratches from going through automatic car washes. I suggest that you call your service advisor and ask him/her to find out if they can recommend a place for wheel repair.

ebay or use the classified on this forum...

also look for the SLK55 rims, they are really nice for the C class.

look for C,CLK,SLK rims.

I got mine through ebay fro $1000 (tires and rims)

E, S, SL, will be too wide in the rear.

how much was it? just to have a ballpark in mind - got the car used, and the guy, who was driving it before, couldn't drive for $*it - 3 out of 4 wheels are curbed.

Do they have original AMG in 19''? I kinda like the way they look, but want to fill the wheel well better, without messing with suspension.

To my knowledge, there are no AMG 19" wheels for our cars.

I paid $50 to refinish / repaint one rear rim. Firstly, the refinished rim has lost that 'shining' like the others; and now, the paint has been dropping off badly. That was why I am considering replacing at least one rear rim.

Ouch. The repair guy who fixed mine was able to make mine look almost identical to stock. No complaints so far. Are you sure they clear coated the wheel after refinishing it?
