Well, I have had my car for sale a few months ago just for fun to see if it would sell. It didn't... Last week I put it back up for sale and it sold. A nice guy from California flew into Florida to take a look at it and loved it! The car is already on its way to California. The funny part is the car was originally bought in California and shipped to me in Florida, now its going back to California. I honestly say I loved the C55 and had no reason to get rid of it besides I get tired of cars quick. The C55 was lots of fun, lots of people complimented it. But I got tired of a luxury car and just wanted a "real" sports car with a manual transmission.

So I got a Viper SRT-10 yesterday. I love the car, it was lots of fun for the half hour I had it, its real fast, lots of raw power, I love the fact its all business with no traction of stability control. Not to mention the car sounds amazingly aggressive and makes nice popping and rumbling sounds. I drove the car out of the dealer and a half our later I went to start up the car in a near by parking lot and nothing happened. I called the sales guy and he came over and called roadside and they had to flatbed the car back to the dealer! So right now they called me this morning and told me its the power control module? They needed to order the part and it should be here Monday or Tuesday! so it was pretty disappointing seeing the car get towed 30 min after I had the car! Now I wont be able to sleep this weekend just thinking how bad I want to drive it already! And i thought Mercedes were un reliable! lol :p

Here is the only picture I have of the car, I will get more once I have it for over 30 minutes!

LOL! Nice! Congrats! I've always loved Vipers... I assume you're getting KW's for it?

So what CF products are you coming out with for the Viper?

Perhaps you should rename Euroteck now... :p

Good stuff man!

I was furious, but i did calm down from yesterday. Not much i can do, the dealer offered if i really did not want the car because of this, they would take it back. But i love the car, this is the color i wanted, and yellows are not easy to find. So i will just wait it out, i try not to think about it, but cant really help to.

nice car man. Too bad to hear about the mechanical problem, hopefully its not a sign warning you of a lot more problems on their way.

Did you consider a Porsche Carrera?

Thanks, i will possibly get KWs for it, there is another company out there that makes coilovers for the car, i think moton? only they cost like over 6k!!! but they are great! After the coilovers a nice set of HRE's should do the trick!

Haha, i dont think i will do much CF on the viper, we are still going to focus on the European cars, not gonna get into the viper market much. I still love Mercedes and will definitely get one again soon.

I hope so as well!

Yes i did conder a carrera, i was actually planning to order a Carrera S with an Aero Kit as my next car, but i was very picky with Porsches, and would not settle on a car in the showroom, i would have needed one ordered and my dealer said it would take about 4-5 months to order one. In the end, i am glad i picked the viper, the Carrera is a nice car, but for 100k, which is what it would be after all my options, it was just to weak of a car.

Thank you.

Yes, the Viper will be pretty much my daily driver, i use the CLS500 a little bit, but i will be using the viper a lot more. It definitely does not have the comfort for everyone for a daily driver, but thats just what i wanted, a real sports car that is not soft to use everyday, i like to have fun whenever i drive. I know for some the ease getting in and out is hard to. But right now this is the perfect car for what i was looking for. At least till i get this out of my system! :p I don't put many miles on my cars either, only had 9k miles on my C55 in 18 months.

It's a little bit sad to know that your C55 is gone. I think your car was one of the first modified C55s I found on the internet. You had a sweet set-up

Is the person who purchased your car also a member of MBWorld? Maybe we'll see your C55 resurrected here on the forum.

I was cruising next to a black Viper w/racing stripes the other night. The exhaust and engine sound was very aggressive. Best of luck with your new daily driver.

Congrats on the VIPER!!! Very sweet!

Neal - what did you get for the c55?

I just posted my car on eBay as a 21 day "buy it now" listing
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KLEEM...QQcmdZViewItem

I know that eBay really isn't the right audience for a car like this so if it doesn't sell on eBay for what I want, I'll probably put it in AutoWeek classifieds.

I put a deposit on the new 997 GT2.

Again congrats and enjoy the Viper!
