You're right the PSS9's cost a little more. I couldn't tell you how cornering is yet. I'm afraid to push it right now because the rear will rub when I take a corner too hard and the car drives a little funny, probably due to an out of whack alignment. I'll let you know once everything is taken care of. The ride is excellent though even 2 turns into stiffer side.

For reals....I have Teins on my Integra and they're decent for the price. I would have considered Teins on the C55 as well but it offered no benefits over the KW's that I'm aware of.

I know this is a old thread, but I recently bought a set of KW V2 for my C32. I am so worried after seeing your problem. So at the end did you have to use the spacers you bought? I am running DPE 19x8F, 19x10R, with Toyo T1R 235/35/19F, 265/30/19R. I don't have time to install the coilovers right now, but will install in a week or so. Do you think my set up will be okay?

It all depends what offset DPE used. If they made the setup c/o compatible, you'll probably be fine. Otherwise, S.O.L.

well since you have 19x8 up front, you have a little more room to play with then most people who run 19x8.5 up front.

What is the offset of the 19x8 up front?

You should be fine if the offset is coilover friendly but the 8" width gives you that much more room to play with.

Thanks guys! I will try to find out what the offset is, but I have no clue where to get that information. I think DPE does custom offset, I got these rims 1 year ago, only remembering they are Not BBK Friendly in the Rear. I running H&R Springs with KONI Yellow Adjustable right now. There is no rubbing on the suspension what so ever, i just hope it will turn out smoothly for me.

Yea, they probably won't tell you exactly what the offset is, but they might be able to confirm whether they built them coilover friendly or not.

Cars in the shop now. Haven't had the time to go check on it yet, but I called in to see how things are going. The tech told me the front has no problem and sits pretty low but the rear is sitting higher than the front, uneven. Any of you had this issue?

Did your tech use the rear spring pads? If he did, he needs to pull them out. The rear springs/adjusters do not need the rubber spring pad.

The rear should not sit high especially when the adjuster is at its lowest setting. It should almost tuck rim.

Got the car back today, the ride is sweettt I am very glad that it went without a problem. The tech knew it does not need the rear pads. To my surprise, the car actually sits lower in the rear than the front. Then I found out when my tech lowered the car he lowered it with regard to the cars weight distribution. Although I would prefer the front to be lowered even more (Because the suspension clears the rim no problem), I'll go with what ever my tech says since he's really knowledgable.

How hard to you guys set the suspension? my tech said he tweak it to the max and then 1.5 inch backward. I find it not hard enough. But I will do more setting when I put 19's back on. Pictures will follow as well.

Thanks a lot for all the help and input.

Hey SDSilverman. I'm having the same damn issues. I am running the sl55 turbines with 31 et. I would appear your solution will work fine with my setup although my tire section width is 9.6 v. your toyo's 9.5 although I have 1mm on ya. Did you put spacers on the rear as well? What was the original and or final setup for the rear? I am just curious whether running 5mm all around is required or if just the 5mm in front is fine etc. Please let me know asap. Thanks. Sean

if i remember correctly only 5 in the front is required. but if you want to even out the look i would do 5 all around.

Well actually they cut off 1/8" off the seat as well so it's really about 8.17mm. I think I may use a 10mm spacer as my tires are .1mm less in offset (out) at 31mm although the tires are wider at 1.27mm each side .1mm. Thus I need to make up 8.44mm clearance on my car.

What is the reason for running a 5mm spacer in the rear to match them a bit closer? As they're already close to teh bumper trim I don't see the benefit, only detriment.
