Question C55 dyno numbers??

What does the C55 put down at the wheels?

Also how does the c55 and the c32 compare speed and handling wise?

This is stock for stock.

Thanks alot..........

ooooooo not another do a search dribble.

I did and all i got was a guy trying to dyno his c55 and couldnt get the esp turned off. From that post I seen that they put down between 290-310.

I still would like to see everyone that has dynoed thier c55 to post it up here.

So thanks alot for the "do a search crap"

hp and tq. numbers would be great, and also what dyno was used.

So if you want to post your numbers, please do,, if you wanna say go search through crappy threads,,,,,, save it.

Here is a link to a previous thread which discusses the C55 vs C32. There are no dyno numbers there, but it does address you second question.

https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c55-amg-w203/135070-c55-really-worth-10k-more-than-c32.html

Bottom line: The C55's main advantage over the C32 is much better handling. The benchmark in handling is/has been the BMW M3 in this class of cars. A stock C55 has an identical Nurburging track time as the standard M3 (8.22 minutes), and it was only 0.3 seconds behind the M3 CS (competition package) in the latest Evo magazine comparison on a 1.8 mile track.

Silvero, let me give a bit of advice on this board, since you just got here - bad attitude does not work.

A lot of people have been here for a very, very long time. When someone tells you to do a search, they know what they are talking about. Replying to them that their advice is "crap" will simply mark you as someone who is not worth answering to and whose opinions are likely to be "crap".

Now, be a good boy and do a search.

So CAl,,,,

There is not one thread with a dyno list for the C55. I did a search many times and have not found one!

I was trying to make a thread for people with C55's that have dynoed their car to post it.

If you do a search you will find the same thing. Searches in forums are not always valuable.

So if you can find anything by searching,,,, post it here and show me!!!!

Otherwise,,,,, save it!!!!!

another guy posted in this thread with a comparo between the c32 and c55,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and said "there are no dyno numbers", but it shows that the c55 handles better than the c32.

Looking for one simple place to read what the C55 is putting down to the wheels......... Is that so hard,,,, kinda looks like it.

He still doesn't understand the whole n00b thing obviously? (yes I am a n00b here with a few posts under this name, a few hundred posts other the name I gave to my dad to use. But have over 7,000 posts on other forums!) slvrevo, take JamE55's advice and do a search. There is also a place called GOOGLE that you can go to...

I did a sipmle search there and came up with some vehicle tested numbers.

-2003 C32 AMG: 0-60 in 5.2, 1/4 mile in 13.6@106, 0-100 in 12.6s, 0-150 in 34s. These numbers were obtained from C&D.

-2005 C55 AMG: 0-60 in 5.05, 1/4 mile in 13.54@105.9. These numbers were obtained from AutoWeek.

Lets see, typing "C55 Dyno" in search box brings up 45 threads that talk about C55s power and some even have dyno graphs..................... imagine that.

Try it, it is a lot easier than making yourself look like a fool.

You asked for performance too, if you would re-read your first post! And the C55 has 13 more hp and 44 mor ft-lbs at the flywheel.

Watch what you say to these other members or you will find yourself banned. I hope they actually hit you with the ban stick after what you just said.

I've seen them range anywhere from 280 to 310, but most of them fall in the 290's (290-300). The ones above 300 are the runners and the ones under 290 are the bummers. lol
what more you need to know?

I guess you a bigger fool that I thought.

See that little blue bar above, there is a "Search" button there, yea that one. Click on it and type in "C55 Dyno", just like I just did and guess what -

https://mbworld.org/forums/search.php?searchid=1362365

Here are all of the theads that have a C55 dyno mentioned in them.

This kind of comment WILL NOT be tolerated on this board and has been reported. I'd highly suggest NOT making anymore dumb comments like that. You don't personally know Vadim like some of us here do so you're the one who doesn't have an idea of who you are talking about. He's one of our more knowledgeable resources here.

could be another troll...

no sane member would start using profanity for no reason.

can we start monitoring who uses this board... they are welcome to read, but they should not be welcome to post unless they are going to behave under our forum rules..

i'm begging to think we are just going replying to trolls and not talk about cars...

My take? Maybe he's a troll, maybe not. Maybe he searched, maybe not. Maybe it was a good way to consolidate threads, ... you get the idea. Point is, his delivery shows no class and IMNSHO he needs to be banned to a quarantined corner of the net to read "How to Win Friends and Influence People". <peace>

JPOG
True Jpog.

Thats all i wanted was a nice thread with a list of what your c55 dynoed..

And being the c55/c32 section is only 7 pages long....It only takes 30 minuetes to fish through them.

And for the guys that posted the links to the "GOD THIS HAS BEEN COVERERD 1,000 TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one was about how to delete the traction control for dynoing,,,, a few blips that the c55 should put down between 290-310rwhp..... And the other one is a broken link.

So there isnt the imfo I was looking for,, Since the reason for me making a new dedicated thread for you guys to post in. Nice and Simple.

But I get " DO A SEARCH TROLL"...wtf

O well I dont have a C55 , and more than likely I wont. Just a nice looking powerful car.
