Just got the car back, fuel pump replaced
Well, just got my car back after a week and a half in the shop. They replaced the fuel pump which consists of replacing the whole gas tank in the C32. Would have been a $4k job if it wasn't under warranty. What I though was an intercooler pump problem was actually a loss of power due to a faulty fuel pump leading to low fuel pressure (on the invoice). Hopefully i got everything fixed and it'll be smooth sailing from here.
Had a 2006 C280 over the last week, and although i was pretty impressed with the C280 when i first got it, the C32 feels like an absolute raging beast after the last week! Makes me appreciate our cars so much more!!!

poor design the fuel pump is in the tank and you have to remove the gas tank off the car. they have to remove the rear axel in the process. guess Im gonna make sure I replace my fuel filter soon

yep, that's $4k Cdn.
As for symptoms, alot like intercooler pump failure symptons i think. Took it out for a quick spin and went to the gym and back. I've been driving pretty aggressive cuz they had the battery unhooked to replace it and i would assume that the transmission is in learning mode right now. before it felt like the car had plenty of jam and other times it felt really down on power. a few times before when i was on the highway, it felt like the supercharger was completely disengaged (i'm going to have to check this over the next few weeks)

congrats on getting the car back.. i hope my fuel pump was replaced by the previous owner.. lol.. Almost 92k miles on my car now.. Still going strong.. No problems in a couple of months.. JINX..
.. I actually like to take the car in.. the more things that break before the warranty runs out the better.. lol (as long as they are covered!)

it says on the invoice that they ran an electric test program for fuel inj. after DTC readout (whatever that means). Also ran fault codes check and Fuel press. & internal leakdown - fuel inj. system test.
don't know if that answers you're question.

That's all very good information, thank you!
