i think that's about right. it all depends on how aggressively you drive. on the highway, the most i get is about 22 mpg.

Gas mileage on the C55 is definitely one of the downsides. ~15mpg is probably about right. Of course it all depends on how heavy your foot...

Mine is averaged 15-16 mpg... so yours is about right. And I push the car quite a lot.

Indicated for me with a mix, 50-50% highway and city, is 18-20. In town with a heavy foot it's more like 15.

Your reading is about right. I average 15-18mpg and I'm pretty heavy footed.

I usually get 260-270 miles on each fill-up of 14.5 gallons and I have a 70 mile round-trip commute in traffic averaging 20-40mph. (West Covina to Irvine). This comes out to about 18.28 mpg but I have a Supercharger in my car. I never paid attention to my mpg before the SC install but it may have been averaging about 15-16mpg.

sorry -couldnt resist

my 996 averages 20mpg round town - cruises at 38mpg at 60-70 and averages 30mpg with allround driving - has a range of 400 miles on roughly 55 litres-it matches my ClK 200k

I average around 14 mpg. Highway driving will approach 21 mpg ....There have been many times when the avg is below 10 though

Never thought my C55 would get considerably worse gas mileage then my old 405hp Z06! The C55 could really use a 6sp manual or at least the 7 sp auto trans from the SLK55.

with my C32 (prior to the Renntech install) was about 21mpg avg, but I drive on the hwy a lot about 60-70... after renntech it went down a few notches, about 19.5 avg now, with the same hwy driving. I notice that when I gun it, it sucks the gas down more than it did BR (before renntech), so the renntech stuff did make the mpg worse.... But damn, it sure is fun to gun it so much more now!!!

I'm right in line with you guys. Mix of town and parkway, max 16mpg for my C55. It actually gets worse milage than my C43 did, averaging about 18 mpg.

I do have a heavy foot.

Great ! Thanks !
My car reads 15.5 L/100km for the whole ~28000km
My car reads 15.2 L/100km for past 4000km
My best trip is 12L/100km ( guess this is = 12mpg?)

No..

1 gallon = ~3.75L
1 mile = ~1.62km

So 12L/100km = ~19.3mpg your best.... 14.9mpg your whole 28000km.

okay ! thanks ! 15 mpg is not bad considering we dont have much roads for a fifth gear here (despite our fuel price of course )

i'm averaging about 18 mpg

the best i've had (taking my reading from the trip computer) was 26 mpg, this was mostly motorway driving at 60/70 mph on a journey of approx 50 miles, i think that a longer journey would have seen it go up a little more but not by much
