I had a supercharger on my E36 M3 and I had no significant loss of fuel consumption. When the car was driven lightly, the compressed air would be bypassed and injectors wouldnt dump more gas. im not sure how the C32 works though.

I really wish that the C32 had 10-15% taller final gearing. It would allow cruising in the mid-70s without S/C engagement, and would allow the car to finish the 1/4 mile in 3rd gear (stock, the 3-4 shift is about 103 MPH), not to mention easier launches and potentially a 200 MPH top speed (with substantial engine mods, of course). If anyone knows a way to do this without spending a fortune, I would like to hear it.

change the rear end gear...but your car would be a lot slower off the line without a lot more power...and you would have to figure out how to recalibrate the speedometer....other than that, i don't think anything else would have to be changed, but with everything being electronic on this car, you never know what it could mess up...

I really don't think that it would be much slower off the line, as there is no way that I can use full throttle in first gear as it is without smoking tires (from a stop, or from a 20MPH roll, it doesn't matter. . . the net result is no traction). I guess that 2nd and 3rd gear acceleration would be somewhat slower, however. I still think that the net result in the 1/4 would be a faster E.T.. Especially for modded cars, the fact that you end up doing the last part of the 1/4 in the bottom of 4th gear is not good.

An LSD helps tremendously in this regard. Sure, the wheels are still spinning - but in a much more linear/controllable manner

well I got my wires in form Alamomotorsports. I did the 2 passenger side first and its do able but its not easy. make sure you have different size extension. pulling the old spark plug wire was a biach. i didnt have to take the air box off. if you do replace the spark plug wire make sure you push them in all the way and slightly tug on the wire to make sure its on. I will take some pix but I'm doing this real slow cuz my allergies are real bad so I can only work on the garrage for a shot time.
thing to remember
1. dont work on the car if its hot or warm, let the car cool down.
2. installing the new spark plug make sure you hand tight it first, dont use a rachet or you might strip the aluminum head. $$$$ to fix.
3. make sure the new wires are on tight.
I will post some pix soon

I know I am in the wrong message board but when I searched for Denso Iridium plugs this came up. I have a 2005 C230ss. I have the Kleeman boost kit w/k-box and soom to come the kleeman header with the ECU upgrade. Nobody has recomended to upgrade my plugs but after read this thread I feel it can possible be to my advantage. the denso website doesnt list 2005 c230 plugs, but it does fro 2004. It list IK20. Does any one any advice for me?

I feel your pain from the allergies, bro. The pollen this year has sucked, and there is nothing worse than doing an aggravating job while the roof of your mouth feels like it has poison oak and you are sneezing every ten seconds. I can load myself up with every OTC and prescription allergy drug, and all that changes is that I sneeze every 15 seconds.
So, did you finally finish?

YES I DID!!!!! car is more responsive and took it on the freeway 4th gear my ESP light was flashing as I hit red line car got kick on high RPM's.

After doing a bunch of research on these plugs I kept coming across articles on the IK-22 is the best plug for a slightly modified engine. So I bought a set and have been driving on them for a week now.They do seem to have more power in the upper RPM's which is more than likely due too reduced detonation resistance which allows the ECU to keep more timing in the motor.
One thing I do notice is that the coolant temperature is 5-7 degrees C cooler with the IK-22's. Even in 95 degree heat with the A/C on full throttle blasts and stop and go I have never seen a coolant temp above 97C. Usually it is at 90C.
I am also glad I removed the stock plugs now because they were nearly seized in the heads. I may not have gotten them out if I waited much longer.
So if you live in a hot climate these plugs may be for you.

how are they for daily driving? any difference there?

Daily driving they have been fine. I doubt there is going to be any down-side to these, they are only one heat range colder than stock.
You want to go through the frustration of changing these plugs again
I think it took me like 3 hours because I was re-using the stock plug wires and did not want to damage them.
