This looks like a nice jacket from a distance (i.e., the Internet) but is there really such a thing as the D2 Mercedes Racing Team or is this a case of just a bunch of random unlicensed logos stuck onto a cheap coat?

Anyone have this jacket or ordered from this outfit before?

yes they are. AMG, D2 are DTM racing series. I do like that jacket

Sounds cool Kev, post a pic if you have one. I like this kind of stuff that's a bit out of the ordinary in the U.S. -- nothing wrong with plain leather jackets and coats with the logo of the last Super Bowl winning team, but there's something to uniqueness.

Just got the jacket today in the mail, 13 days after the order (well, I guess Thailand is not as close to California as most places on this planet) and must say I'm pleasantly surprised.

All of the logos are emroidered, not lousy stickers. The colors are bright and attractive. The exterior feels like a cotton/poly mix, soft to the touch but not too "shiny." The interior is poly (feels like nylon, but a bit softer). The sizing runs a bit small (glad I ordered XXL).

There are two unzippered side pockets on the outside and a small zippered inside breast pocket. The zippers seem to be pretty poor quality but the stitching is nicely done.

There are no interior labels of the kind that describe materials and cleaning instructions. I'm assuming it's somewhere between "dry clean only" and "don't bother - disposable".

All in all, not the quality you would expect of something bought directly from MB, but a successful AMG-related purchase on eBay.

Will try to scare up a supermodel around here to model it for you guys in pics.

Oh, and I'm sure you will be eager to hear that shipping was 534 Baht.
